Paper Wasp photographed at the laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 29 October 2022.

Nicely done, Gene.  I really like the DOF playing w/ the stems.  Did you note the egg mass on the wasp's perch?  Bonus points.

Craig, Thanks.  Using a telephoto lens does have the advantager of additional dof.  When taking the image, I did not notice the eggs.

Love the pose of the wasp and so well isolated from its background. Long lens is so good for this.
