Berry season looming with the fruits of summer providing a welcome boost for our feathered friends.

Still playing with the Z9..  Mainly about the different focus modes, options.  (wide S used here with the target berries being bottom right).

Z9  1/1000 F5.6 ISO 1250 100-400 Z at 400.

Thanks for looking. Cropped from original... Mainly on a scouting trip for when Autumn goes into full bloom...

The grouping of berries is excellent, so is the aperture choice.

A nice view of these Hawthorn berries, Dave. I used to eat these when I was a child, they're good for blood pressure, high cholesterol and circulation - but I just liked them!

Sharp! I like the composition/dof. The spider silk lines make a nice zig-zag for the eye to follow. Looks like you're having Z fun time ! ;)

Thanks Cindy. Much appreciated. Full autumn is just around the corner and hopefully, will be interesting.

(we are currently seeing what we describe as a false Autumn.... leaves falling mainly because of the heat wave. Berries coming out a bit quicker though which might be all gone when the wintering birds come over).
