Dogwood Spittlebug
Clastoptera proteus
On wild grape.

There are three species (so far) of this genus in our yard - 20-some years in, and I never noticed.  They're tiny - think somewhere between black peppercorn and BB.  Really cool, though, if you can get a good look!

Amazing that you even found this tiny creature, and then got such a great shot. Makes me feel like I should explore my environment with a magnifying glass!
