Still playing with the Z9.  Little bit light on the SS  :D but we've finally had some rain....

100-400S at 400.  5.6 and 1/2500...  ISO 1000.  (probably will want 1/4000 +.  )...

Please feel free to view uncompressed and thanks for looking.

It looks as if you have fun with the Z9. The sense of motion works for me. It would be interesting to see one with higher shutter speed as comparison.

Well said by Axel!  A great subject to work with - and a fine result!  I am equally impressed that you know its name is Bif!

Wow- uncompressed is terrific! Love the detail. Are you using an an adapter with the Z9, or a dedicated lens?

Thanks Cindy.  It’s a straight native Z lens the 100-400.  Have noticed lots of users using the 100-400 rather than a dedicated macro so wanted to see for myself.  I’ll probably get some Z fit tubes before the winter sets in.  Still have my F lens kit and a D800 which I am fond of but these Z bits are fun even though it seems a forever wait job!

Lovely capture Dave - wing motion works fine for me - but would be nice to see a faster exposure - anyhow you have the right combo to play with. Glad you had a bit of rain as well.
