Spring Peeper

I'm seeing a lot of Peepers and Gray Tree Frogs this summer.  I saw this guy climbing the Dogbane, legs all stretched out akimbo, and worked my way closer; the frog decided, "the heck with that," and plopped down onto this leaf.  Hard to believe such tiny critters can seemingly pierce your eardrums from 12' away, even though you likely won't see 'em.

A shame you didn't catch his climbing mode - it can be so funny with their little legs. You have got a lovely image of this little beauty on the leaf though. Beautifully done!
