hello everyone, this is my way of photographing .. I would like to be able to paint my photos like a painter paints his canvas ... sometimes I can or, better, I try to get close, many times I can't ... in this photo I illuminated the flower with a reflector panel and a LED flashlight .... this type of photography may or may not like it but, I really like to go out of the box ... I wish everyone a sweet Easter ... Excuse me if my English is not perfect ...

Romolo, your images are a thing of beauty. Truly, a work of art as you overcome technical difficulties to retain the essence and emotion. By the way, and am speaking for myself, but no excusing necessary as your English is way better than my Italian, and your images do not need translating.
Make your life spectacular!

The warm color in the flower is remarkable, so are the soft background textures.

Hi Matty,
I like the colourful smooth bg u created. Nice work with the
supplementary light sources directed at the flower.
Maybe only your irix lens can create artistic effect like this.....
Wondering though what's your Aperture setting for this shot.

Definitely another work of art - as most of your images are! Beautifully done. Your English is excellent!

thank you all for your comments.... X Darren: The irix is a lens that adapts very well to make these kinds of photography, the aperture is composed of 11 lamellae that, using diaphragms from F / 2.8 to F / 4 you can get a result that is close to the Trioplan 100 F / 2.8, much less nervous, sweeter ... To get this kind of photography you have to think not only about the back background but, more like the one in front of the subject... Explaining it with a message becomes complicated, it would be easier to do it in the field, to make this photo I used an F/2.8 aperture, the luck of this lens is already sharp even at full aperture ...

Your work is very special- I do think of it as painterly-as close as you can get to a "real" brush and paint. But even then, your photos have something beyond what a painter might do, and that is pretty amazing. And...your English is excellent! :) Love the glow in the flower in this one.
