Not a strong point but loved the light intensity.

Z7II and Sigma 150-600.  ISO 900.  1/800 F6.3  Early morning.

Link to high rez HERE

Was looking for Fallow Deer but that was a wash out, so the native fauna became my target...LOL...

Please feel free to view uncompressed and hope all safe.

Best wishes for 2022.

David, the ferns and light look quite surreal and stunning. Nice pano crop too.

Thank you Darren and Neil. Appreciate your thoughts and time given. (was first time out with the Z7II so more of an exploratory test). The ferns didn't prove a challenge....LOL All the very best for 2022 guys.

Intriguing colors, Dave-those blue edges and bits of reddish brown. And the light is lovely too. Lots to enjoy here.

Nice job "seeing" things when your intended subject is not cooperating. Great use of light, and I like your use of a pano crop so there is no waste of space.

Amazing light on this one, Dave! The high rez really brings out the fine detail and lets us see it at its best.

This image is definitely amazing, the light is incredible and brings out every little detail of this fern. Simply wonderful!

Isn't that the truth of it.  Fickle creatures deer.  Now ferns... A different story.  Reliable, always there , and happy to provide a differing colour palette throughout the year.  Good deal that.

Have a brilliant New Year John.   :)
