This is probably a Monkey God-faced Lynx spider (Hamataliwa sp)
I've always wanted a passport image. Not the most high resolution but will do for now, after struggling in the dark for at least half an hour all alone... In Chinese folklore, there was a monkey who some how achieved divine power and became god status.;)

f20,1/200, 90D, T90+Raynox250, diffused flash set to Manual , hh, generously cropped.

A fine view of this amazing species, Darren! I definitely see the little 'monkey face' with your excellent detail.

Wow, it looks really like Sun Wukong! Both the spider and the perch are very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Yun Gao. Yes, only missing are the Wukong costume and the magic stick. Nature is comical. ;)
