Found this jumping spider feeding on a cricket under a leaf, on the slope of a mountain.

Image was rotated 180 deg. I choose this particular image as it shows more of the jumper's eyes. I wish the cricket legs were sharply foccused but at this magnification close to 1:1 it was not to be. :(

1/200, f16, 90D, T90, diffused flash ETTL +1/3, hh.

Hope the view is an interesting one. Comments welcomed.

That's a big meal for the spider. What a find! Well done to capture this so clearly.

Fine behavior illustration, excellent detail and lighting - beautiful colors.

A lucky day for this jumping spider. Great capture of the hunting behavior. Nice details in the larger view. The slight OOF legs don’t bother me. Love your title!

Amazing image with superb detail, Darren - but I think I'll stick with a Big Mac rather than a McBug!
