Monarch butterfly feeding on Purpletop vervain 
Excluded the eye intentionally. Cropped a bit from the bottom, original length.
I find the out of focus flower distracting. 

D90, 105mm, f/13, 1/640, ISO 800, handheld, 97% of original frame. September 2021.

Very nice wing detail- I agree that the out of focus flower is distracting- not sure there is much you can do with it-perhaps add a lot of blur to it? That would put it in the digital art category, I suppose.

Awesome closeup view of the wing patterns. The higher res version is even more visually compelling. I don't find the oof flowers that much of an issue.
