Supreme details in this close-up of the viper, very nice the blur in the foreground.

A beautiful setting with the surrounding flowers and perfect selective focus to bring out the details on this handsome snake, Nicola!

A stunning shot with that strong snake image emerging from the flowers. The pinks and reds make a great contrast for the snake. Very dynamic!

An excellent portrait, lovely composition and setting. I don't know if I'd get that close to a viper with a 105mm lens!

Ditto - excellent image - but I was thinking the same thing about being a wee bit too close for my personal comfort.....;)

These are things to do in a safe mod with the right precautions. You have to know what you are doing. :-)

It's the most venomous european viper indeed.
