As fall begins to creep in our flowers and plants begin to go dormant.  So, I decided to process this image of a bloom from our hydrangea bush from August to remind us of how great our gardens were this year.  We find this particular bush very hard to photograph, but like this image. Please enlarge to see details.

Lovely whites contrast with the dark greens and a flowing diagonal in the frame.

Ditto that.  A wonderful reminder of the past summer.

I love these Hydrangea varieties, you have perfectly captured the beauty of these flowers.

Lots to like in this image. The diagonal composition of the flower stalk as well as the nice contrast that shows off the flowers without being harsh. Well done.

A lovely hydrangea and a lovely image with the green and white against the dark shadows, Ed!

What a nice summer remembrance-I really like the strong contrast and uplifting angle of the flowers.

Nice whites against the dark background. Good handling of the exposure.
