I have really enjoyed Chris's Orchid series.  Not many orchids in the desert, but this show off is eye catching.  From a few years ago.

Nice discovery-reminds me a bit of our Showy Ladyslippers. These are big orchids, I assume. This might benefit with a slight crop on the top.
