Caladenia alata

A tiny orchid, about 8-10mm across they grow on fairly long stalks so still weather is a must to shoot them.  Flowers only open for a few days and can be found close by the edge of trails in the bush around home.  12 image stack in Helicon focus.

Lovely image and specimen - great stacked detail.
Totally envious of the wonderful flowers in your neck of the woods at the moment, as we head to a dismal grey dreary November.

Lovely simplicity and detail, Chris. A nice contrast against the dark background. How wonderful to have all these orchids to see and capture.
