Searching for the Sun

Last throws of summer, this little flower has the sun on its radar.  Just playing around in the garden and thought to see how the Sigma 150-600 Sport fairs.

1/800 F8 at 600.  ISO 1000 in manual. D500 and monopod.

It has certainly picked up the fine detail, Dave - like the tiny hairs on the leaves and the strands of spider's web, which appear to be holding up the flower stem like the cables on a suspension bridge!  :)

Looks like the Sigma lens fared very well. Fine details very well seen, and the side lighting helps bring out the spider web and it's details as well.
As a side note, I like your title as well.

Love the mood here- the flower reaching out to the sun, and the spider webs holding on. It really speaks to a fall feeling -the partial decay and last blooms.
