That's one of my grandma's Christmas puddings!  :D We would politely eat a mouthful and say we couldn't possibly eat any more as we were so full.

Must view large to get the full effect and details in this interesting close up. The composition is nice as is the DOF but the texture is what caught my eye when viewed large.

Lovely closeup of a complex flower center, love the details. It's a Rudbeckia, a flower in the Black-eyed Susan family.
