A must to view large. Great comp showing that one bloom and the repeating pattern from the other heads.
Make your life spectacular!

A splendid design and excellent bloom details - it’s a milkweed species, either common milkweed or swamp milkweed.

Using Google Lens app, it says : Asclepias purpurascens, the purple milkweed.

Well captured and aptly titled!

This is awesome! The colors and symmetry and then the one lone bloom….A definite standout.  :D

Unique framing with the key subject standing out at base ...
Beautifully done, John!

Thanks for the ID Tom and Darren...yes it appears to be a milkweed variety...and a little more research finds that it is a monarch butterfly favourite!

Definitely thinking outside the box with both the perspective and the composition, John! Nicely done and what a lovely colour.
