A Double Tail Swallowtail drinking from the mud at the edge of a puddle near Windsor Creek in Northern NM. yesterday evening.
Nikon D850, 300f4 PF, TC14E, f10@1/3200 sec.

Excellent detail and low angle - some times you have to lie down to get the shot.

Very nice shot that looks similar to our Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly here in the northeast. They are often found here "puddling" in groups but I like this image as the details really stand out. Good job of getting the camera down low as the angle is terrific. As a side note, I would add just a bit to the left.

Excellent detail, and a nice behavior shot- these are seen here so often sipping puddles in big groups.
