Baskettail sp

On our way to MI from our winter home in S. TX, our RV park had a pond; we found a few different Ode species - this one's a Baskettail, but I'm not sure a more specific ID is possible based on this photo.

I really like seeing the wings in motion and the nice bright, clear eye and body. Makes me think of a helicopter. :) Beautifully done!

I have tried photographing dragonflies in flight before and know it can be a challenge. You have done a great job with this one.
