We've had a series of cold snaps recently - not great for the orchards in bloom - but lovely for some icy early morning photos....

It was indeed a race against time, a balance between great light and melting crystals.

Yes, we are getting cold frosts at night - some of the spring flowers handle the cold better than others. A lovely view of nature's crystals!
