Red Fingered Anglerfish Porophryne erythrodactylus
Been while since I posted, here's a red fingered anglerfish found diving at Kurnell at the entrance to Botany Bat south of Sydney. I was starting to head back to the exit when I spotted the shape of this fish at the end of a sponge covered rock, they are notoriously hard to find. This one would be about 8-10cm long and they are only found around Sydney and further south in Jervis Bay.
