Really nice use of light and shadow. Interesting how the shadow of the branch is broken up between the two leaves which are at slightly different depths. Needs to be clicked to appreciate the edge sharpness, particularly of the bottom leaf.

This is really a gorgeous backlight: I love seeing the textures inside the leaves illuminated by sunlight.

I love seeing backlight through leaves, and this is a lovely study in light and shade, Dave - right down to the tiny hairs on the stem.

The backlit leaf is handsome, the shadow of the prickly stem is a nice touch.

Good use of backlight and shadow. The larger version shows the thin veins and the tiny hairs in the large leaf.

Nice to see you here! I like the overall design of this- a study in shapes and light. The details a great as well, in the larger view-a treat to see. It's quite unique, I think, to make use of shadows instead of avoiding them. Well done!
