It is wonderful to see such beauty in something so ordinary and usually not thought of....(except, perhaps by birds. ) Beautifully composed -the star-like remnants of the flowers (seed pods?) are so interesting and attractive. I also like that this is a side view, rather than upright. And such fine detail!

Thanks, Cindy and Dave. This image started out as a vertical of the stem on the left, but when I switched to a horizontal, the composition with the sepals on the right looked so much better.
