When searching for bird species I sometimes stumble across a wild orchid.  Orchids are the one family of flowers that interest me enough to take a break from birds and other wildlife.  Such was the case with this Purple Fringed Orchid near peak condition.

Excellent control of dof Warren. Liking that there are so many petals crisp. A lovely Orchid image in excellent condition! (can't recall the number of times I have found flowers past their best!). Well done.

I know what you mean about orchids, Warren, they have a habit of getting you hooked! So many stunning varieties and all with their tiny 'people and creatures' dancing in the flowers. A beautiful orchid and a beautiful image!

This is so uplifting- such pretty soft colors and I love the vertical crop to show them all off. Amazing to see how fresh they all look-glad you "took a break" to bring these to us. :)
