The underwater world is endless in terms of subjects, abstracts, colors and so much fun to explore with a camera.  When I first saw this brain coral, I was struck by how clean it was.  I am still quite blown away by all the subtle detail in this.

Details:  Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark III; Housing: Nauticam; Strobes: 2x Sea & Sea YS-D1; Shutter speed: 1/80 sec; Aperture: 16; Exposure mode: Manual; Metering mode: Multi-segment; ISO: 640; Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM.

It first appeared to be some type of zipper system to me. Very fine detail and nice pastel type coloring throughout the image. Good choice of comp as well.

The detail of this coral is really incredible, a very beautiful abstract image.
