My macro photography friends often use Cat as the short form for Caterpillar. So it was rather amusing to find an uncommon caterpillar that looks like a cat! This is just an ordinary photo but I chose it as one of my favourites for 2020 simply because I really like this cat. Oh! I meant caterpillar ;-)

This makes me smile for a lot of reasons! Your cat story is cute, but the "cat" also has an amusing "expression", I guess you'd say. I love how the purple blossoms match it's color. Ant the composition is excellent. I can see why this is a favorite in many ways!

What a nice caterpillar! :D
Very nice also the abbreviation. I really like how you have choose to compose this image,
with a slightly diagonal line, very beautiful colors and really incredible light.

Fascinating 'cat' and what a lovely image! The tiny flowers all seem to be 'bowing' to the approaching caterpillar - and with its raised head, it seems to expect them to show submission! No wonder its a favourite.

Love the leaning grass flowers and the horns on the "cat".

Nice one, and I think the crop suits this very well.

+1  It does look like a cat with long ears. Great find, fun and nice image.
