This is a shot taken in 2009, when I still did not have macro lenses.
Under your feet there is a fantastic world!

Sigma 18-50 mm f/3.5-5.6 DC
ISO 100 - 1/160s - f/5.6 - 50 mm - Exposure compensation: -0.3
Additional lenses
Graduated ND filter applied in post production

Who needs macro lens when you can do this? ;). I love how the soft petals are bursting out from the focused center. It creates a very lively effect. Beautifully done!
