Orange Mushrooms

Spotted these uncommon orange mushrooms on a large rotten tree trunk.  Cap diameter about 1 to 3 cm. Tried both fill flash and backlit.  I like the backlit better as it brings out the colours and details.  I welcome your C & C for improvement.

Although I didn't see the fill flash version, I can't imagine the lighting being any better than this for the mushrooms. The stacking worked well with this shot. Very nice angle and terrific overall image.

Backlit was the right choice for this image, gives them a nice glow.

The lighting is exceptional, fine colors and color contrast. Fine stacked detail. Beautiful!

This is gorgeous! Love the lighting-backlit surely is the way to go. These just glow, and I like the way they are dancing on the log.
