They look so upbeat..if you can say that about flowers. I just get a sense of them dancing..or maybe singing a quartet. :) Lovely!

One of my favorite wildflowers to photograph. This is a wonderful shot to show them off at their best in a great arrangement. The use of the out of focus background really helps to emphasize the shape of flowers. It's not noted but, is this a stacked image ? Terrific job on this beautiful flower.

I think they rank high on the elegance meter.  One of my favorite fall flowers.  Unfortunately, they are also one of the last, so it means that the wildflower season is wrapping up.  Thanks for the kind comment.

Yes, this is a stacked shot.  Very helpful in order to get the background soft, as I'm sure you're aware.  They are one of my favorites as well, and this year seemed to be a good one for these in NE Ohio.
