A curious snail exploring the beauty of a cluster of mysterious bioluminescent fungi (Mycena manipularis) that could emit a greenish light only visible in the dark.

Oh, I like this very much! The composition and lighting are excellent, and what an interesting subject! The mushrooms look luminous even in the daylight the way you backlit them. Beautiful!

Hello, Ant!  Good to see your images again.  :)

What a wonderful image - great composition, content and light - with the little snail among the mushrooms.  Love it!

Carol.

Wonderful backlight and the slight translucent effect. The snail is a fine addition.

Beautiful scene, lighting & background -- very well done!

(Any idea whether the snail glows in the dark after eating the fungi?)
