Bottle, or closed gentian are a fairly rare wildflower here. Many blossoms get bug infested , but these survived intact.

Great composition Cindy. Lovely to get this pristine rarity. The soft light brings the colours out beautifully.

Very nice soft light on these gentians. They are a different shade of blue than the fringed gentian I recently submitted to the gallery. Your image really shows off the deep intensity of the blue color which is much different than other wildflowers. Really a nice image of these beauties.

Cindy, the selective focus is perfect for the wonderful "feel" you acquired in this image. It's just beautiful. :)
