Nessus sphinx on butterfly bush. Please correct me if the moth ID is wrong.

Nikon D90, 105mm, f/8, 1/1250, ISO 2000. 80% of original frame. Montreal, July 2020.

I like everything about this image. Colours, details, subject isolation and sharpness, movement blur of the wings, dynamism, composition.

Knowing how small these critters are, the eye and body pin sharp is really remarkable.

This is really lovely-everything looks clean and sharp, and the colors are so beautiful. I believe the species is correct, and what a beautiful specimen. Love these moths and similar "butterfly" moths.
