Common through much of the south, these tiny guys, (<1.5" long,) often go unnoticed.  I find them gorgeous!

Damselflies make great subjects, always fun to try and find them. Captured a great pose here, light nice and soft. I think it could use a touch more contrast with a light S curve.

1.5" is pretty small, though a giant compared to our pygmy wisp which is all of 0.75" long it wafts around and disappears from view if you don't follow it perfectly as it lands. http://www.aus-natural.com/Fauna%20-%20 ... Wisps.html
