Familiar Bluet Enallagma cevile
Caribbean Yellowface Neoerythromma cultellatum
Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State ParkMission, (Hidalgo Co), TX The Bluet is very common; the Caribbean Yellowface is something of a target species for a lot of Ododphiles - in the U.S, it's found only in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Although something of a "newbie" to the world of Odes, and especially damselflies, I've been fortunate to see them on a number of ocassions. 5DIV 100-400 5.5-5.6 II (@400mm) 1/500, f/9, iso 800 Natural light Significant crop Comments and suggestions always welcome. |
