Beautifully done- love the soft environment very artistic. I could see this with the bright right side cropped off too, for a vertical crop. What equipment did you use for this lovely shot?

Excellent mood and feel to this image. The more I look at it the stronger it gets. Image such as this can strand different crops as suggested by Cynthia and still look impressive. Will take me a while to figure out what I would like best ! One thing you could do which will be helpful is brightening the butterfly selectively so its stands more from the background Big Congrats on this one !!!!!

Cynthia - Canon Macro 100mm, f-2,8

AForns - on a better quality file - the main actor is better isolated from the background. Compression flattens the image.

Thanks for comments !

Excellent selective focus on the butterfly and perch, and an intriguing composition. I like the light in the right area - it suggests the late afternoon light and the meadow environment. This best seen when you click on the image, without compression and with a darker background.

I hate to use the cliché, but I lov3 the “dreamy” atmosphere you’ve presented.
