Greenish Grass Dart & Crab Spider

Took this image a few months back, only noticed the crab spider when processing it later.  Manual stack of two frames for depth of field.  The butterfly flew off soon after without the crab spider pouncing.

Lovely light, pretty whites, and excellent detail of the skipper and the spider.

Excellent detail. The well hiding spider adds interest to an already great photo.

I really like the duet here- the spider is well camouflaged-almost missed it. What a great hiding place. Looks like a big meal for the spider! Beautiful clarity and a nice story-telling element.
