Bronze copper is uncommon to rare in my area. It's a local butterfly - if you know where to look, it's not that hard to find. An end-of-season butterfly, a little worn, found in late October. View uncompressed.

Lovely shot Tom. I like how it is resting on the copper coloured dead flower too.

Really beautiful shot- love how it is composed with space in front and a slight hint of another flower. I like Kim's comment too, about the matching copper colors. And of course it is so nicely detailed.

The colors create such a great mood and tell one that it was a cloudy rainless day

Superb detail in the butterfly, beautiful soft colors. I like the out of focus flower in the background.
