I can see why you didn't see the butterfly right away with all the surrounding colors! Nice close view of the butterfly. Looks sharp. The glare on the flowers is a bit distracting-it's pretty hard to deal with such bright light.

Nice butterfly detail. One way to deal with this kind of bright light is to use flash and underexpose the ambient light.

Thanks for the reminder, no flash and in a hurry to shoot birds.
Opportune shot then the sun popped out from behind a cloud :-(
