Spined Soldier bug

Found it on Hausta leaf in my backyard. The bug kept moving, so it was had to capture. 
Canon 7DII + 180/3.5 + tripod
DPP4, PSCC, cropped to 80%
Appreciate comments and suggestions

I like how it's nestled in the leaf. Interesting bug- so many out there I have no idea about. I'm assuming I'm looking at an eye-it looks quite fierce, whatever it is! (At least to it's enemies?) :)
