Found this among other wildflowers in a nature park. Tried tame the red and yellows as much as possible. 
Canon 7DII + 180/3.5 + Tripod
f/11, 1/40, ISO 1600
Canon DPP4, PSCC, Nik Detail extractor. a small crop on all sides for composition. 
Appreciate comments and suggestions.

Brilliant color-I don't know that they need to be tamed-at least not any further. They make a cheery design. I think i wold prefer a symmetrical (square) crop-the red on the left doesn't do much for me. This would make a nice abstract-could even play with it as such, perhaps using some sort of paint program?

Nice light, comp, color, and detail. Good job taming the colors - they look good to me.
