I've never seen a water lily this color- beautiful! The pad too, seems to be on the purple side. Very nice shot. I'd be tempted to crop a little off the right side. You could even focus close in on just the lily and bud, for my taste. So pretty.

A beautiful Water Lilly -- it's amazing how well the flower stands out against all the other elements in the photo!

Love the colors, both blossom and water, but I agree that a crop could improve this. I’d definitely keep the buds, but the algae covered submerged growth. . . not so much.

Thanks Cynthia! yes, I was looking at balance and couldn't decide where to crop so just left it.
