D750, 150 macro, 1/400, f/9 ISO  1250 hand held

Found this brilliant little critter this AM- had to look it up- no idea what it was. Apparently some of this genre  can cause a painful sting if touched...which I didn't. (Not this one any, I don't think. )

Excellent capture of this lovely species, Cindy! Superb image.

This is one of those look but don't touch beauties! Quite a few of these more hairy varieties can at best cause a nasty irritation to the skin if touched.

Lovely image! love the colors and the composition. Interesting looking fuzzy caterpillar like creature.
