American Rubyspot (f)
Hetaerina americana Washtenaw Co, MI 5DIV 100-400 4.5-5.6 II 1/200s, f/16, iso 800 Eval -.67 Hand held, natural light This was fun - a lifer species that was a target for this trip; for this shot I had to lay among the *huge* fishing spiders and hang over a small bank cut to get a decent angle. Of course the best shot of the outing would be a female, but at least this one was the most vividly marked of all the females we saw. Comments and suggestions always welcome. |
