Once they emerge out of the ground, they shed their external shell and perch for the blood to flow in to their wings and then fly away.. used 3 flashes to get that wing which is getting that blue blood through them.

D5, 105mm, 3 flashes and diffuser
ISO 100, f22, 1/160 shutters.
