The high magnification allows me to see a striking abstract in beautiful color, Leigh. Excellent.

Amazing abstraction, Leigh! So colorful and detailed. This is quite a process!

Hi John
Thanks for the kind words.
No, I used Zerene.  I've always wanted to compare Zerene with Helicon, though.
Dead specimen found in the garden.
308 images.
Can't say I really love this type of photography; it's a bit tedious.  I always wanted to try it, but rather be out in the field.

A lot of work, but a very cool result. I really like it.

A most interesting image, Leigh,
EP-worthy, for sure!

I'm curious about the use of the 5x objective with a 70-200mm lens: how are these configured?
Thanks & Congrats,
Bill

Thanks, Bill
I simply use step-up (or step-down - I don't recall) rings/adaptors.  The objective needs a "tube lens" @ 200mm. Seems to work well together.

Amazing colors and stack work. Brings out the abstract beauty. I use Zerene and often struggle with clarity along the edges. working with a large stack takes a lot of patience and skills.

Thanks.  Yeah, I don't think I have the patience to stack at this magnification.  Probably stick to outdoors using my 65mm 1-5x. Zerene can be tricky especially with this may shots and at this magnificaion - DOF is so slim.
