Question: Would the image be better with the bud on right lower part of frame in focus? Is it a distraction as is?

Very lovely image-such a nice feel to the flowers. Lots to like about this. I do find the bud on the right distracting, mainly because it is so white. If it was toned down, it would provide a nice balance without grabbing your eye. This would be nice without it too, but perhaps you prefer not to remove anything. I do like the mood of this photo very much.

Personally I like it as presented. The bud blends in with the other out of focus parts of the plant and gives a nice depth to the image, while the beautifully detailed flowers take centre stage. A lovely image.

I like this as is - no need to have that bud in focus. You could reduce (burn) the highlights and midtones on the bud a bit. Nice group, fine details.

Love it as is. Personally, I’d leave it, but if the bud bothers you, toning it down a hair wouldn’t detract.
