A small section of a stringy bark gumtree.

Taken with my walkaround light kit, Nikon D5300, Nikon 40mm macro lens and SB Flash with diffuser. HandHeld.

F13, ISO 200, 1/60 sec, flash at -2. About 2.5 inches from subject.

Kike the composition with the vertical main piece of bark and the strands going both ways.
