I like the cropped view of the camellia and the dynamic composition. I think it would be better balanced if the yellow areas weren't as bright.

I kind of like the playing about with light, and although I like the bloom - I think the image would be stronger without it. Just concentrating upon the foliage and lighting play upon the right would have been nice lol

But as it stands - although it is indeed a nicely executed shot I think the image itself is in two minds about its own desires
