Robert O'Toole flash method . Robert set the  flash at 1/8 i set it 1/4 because my diffuser cut a lot of light , camera is also set manual .

I like the strong contrasts and the nice background. It looks like a painting to me perhaps it is a bit flat, like pressed flowers.

Hi

A nice enough little image - I am not overly a fan of lighter valued backdrops tbh, I feel the eye often gets drawn straight to this area rather than the subject. So it would been interesting to see what happened if the flash done a bit more work and underexposed the backdrop somewhat

Fine composition and beautiful flowers. A brighter tone for the flowers would make it even better. As Matthew suggests, underexposing the ambient light and using more diffused flash would give a different balance of background/foreground lighting.
