First Poppies of the Season taken last week before the storms. As said in the Lupine pic - the rains are really bringing out the blooms in the desert. But our cold snap will most likely freeze them. The good thing is no worries about rattlesnakes just yet. I can't believe how delicate these are...needing total sun and move at the slightest breeze.

Vibrant colors, lovely blooms in light that suits their bright character.

What a cheery sight- lovely color and composition. (I'm looking a 3 feet of snow on the ground and sub-zero temps. )Thanks for the uplifting vision! :)

Like Cindy, I am looking at 3 feet of snow here too.
Thanks for bringing some bright spring colors!
I like how they are facing the sun
